[there are strange thumping noises coming from the other room 8|a]

[... that's a very heavy and familiar sort of thump. going to investigate]

[it was apparently the thump of a Daisuke falling over while trying to get a burr detached from his back where he can't reach. there are a good few lying on the floor that he'd already knocked loose, but he's nowhere near done yet :T]

[UNHAPPY, MELODRAMATIC WHINE as he sprawls in momentary defeat]

But yes, they are rather uncomfortable. It's a good thing they don't stick to skin the way they do to fur. ... And clothes.
