[automatically reaching out to make sure she doesn't knock herself over]
Mostly learning. I study Pokemon behavior and biology, mostly.
That's why I'm so happy that Kaitwo will be working with me from now on. Instead of having to watch Pokemon and guess at why they act the way they do, I can just ask them.
[she doesn't even bother responding to that with words; it's easier to just let him see what she remembers— a toddler-sized Kaitwo closely inspecting Charmandertwo's tail and bombarding her with questions: what it was for, didn't the fire hurt, how did she make it flare up like that, could she teach him how to be on fire too?]
It's Kagamine-san's turn to answer them, though! Mine is all~ done, yayyy. [giggling] Which is good! Answering questions is hard when you think all in squiggly bits.
No no no it's okay. It might go bad by then, all fuzzy. Ummm... hmm. Hmm~mmm~mmm.
[she lapses into silence for a good couple of minutes; she has a bad tendency to drift when she tries to think about things too hard, instead of letting her train of thought and what words she's got tug her along. she has to stop and pull herself back together once or twice.]
It's like... mmm. My heart is right here, yes? A heart is smart and you should listen to it, but it's no good for things that you need to be all careful and think about a lot. I don't have the parts for those things back yet, so, so it's like... um.
[fumbling around and then projecting an image of walking blindly into a soft, thick wall; not painful, but impossible to get through or over. a little progress can be made, by pushing hard enough... but the further you go, the more it pushes back and eventually you run out of energy and get shoved back out.]
Like that! And all of the rest of me, the parts I can remember having and doing before are all over there.
If I needed all of them right now it might be bad but nope! I don't yet, so I wait and bother Kaitsuu and Papa instead.
Yes! Yes. I remember what I have, but it's in boxes and buried and sometimes lost and nooo unpacking because my "house" is still building itself! There's not enough room in here yet.
...I might be stressed if there was, ummm, "room" for it? Maybe? Or if it were important enough to make room? But nope. Not a place for it right now. All the... Shelves? Yes. The "shelves" are shaped different, so it'd be too much squeezing.
Well... He's close to the average adult human now, in terms of size and proportions. From the images you've given me of how he looked as a kitten... mm, his basic physiology is unchanged, but he's much taller and stronger now. He's also... very lean, I suppose. One gets the impression looking at him that there is not one bit of wasted energy.
Ah... he also has some prosthetics now, on his arm and leg.

A bit like moving into a new house, then, is it? But much less stressful, I would imagine.

I'm sure he'd be willing to, if it was to help you. You're very special to him.

...Prosthetics?
Why?
What happened?
[that is a whole lot of very sudden worry]
