was_no_monster[seeing Pokemon at the local cafe is not that unusual, although normally they're the smaller, "cute" ones, brought in by trainers attracted to the cafe's fancy atmosphere and delicate baked goods.
seeing Pokemon by themselves, however, is. especially when the Pokemon in question is a six-foot tall cat-type bristling with both fur and muscles. ...even if it is wearing a rather dapper jacket and shirt. and genteelly nibbling at a Poffin while reading a book.

((ooc: ...Pokemon AU free for all? 8D;; Kaitwo's recently helped pass some pretty significant laws for equal Pokemon rights and is a recognizable public figure in-universe at this point, but if you'd rather not try to deal with all the weird plot we've built up feel free to just gawk at the Mewtwo in a coffee shop. or do something completely different!))
