[siiiiiide-eeeeeeye from where she's carefully grooming her leg. it's definitely sprained, and she's definitely not going to be able to get back home until it's better— she doesn't have enough energy or focus to try transforming, and even if she did, being a human girl with a sprained leg isn't much better than being a fox in this part of town.

[popping the can of sardines open for her and scooting it over to where she can reach it without stretching. things he has learned: bandaging up hurt things is infinitely easier to do while they're eating]

...for all that he looks kind of fearsome, he's been really nice to her so far. and it's not like he's human, so even if she did cooperate a bit more than a normal fox would it wouldn't be like she was breaking any rules...

[she must be tame; even the most good-natured wild animal wouldn't offer him their injured limb so soon after meeting him. hell, even a tame one usually wouldn't. and if she were dumped, or a run away, it would explain why she was so far away from anything resembling a proper habitat.

that may make things more difficult, then. if she's used to people, he probably couldn't release her to the wild— but he can't exactly dump her at the local shelter the way he would with a stray cat or dog, either.
