KAITO: SHADOW GARBAGE AU EDITION OPEN POST

Because sometimes you love both the split personality and inner demons tropes way too much, and there's only one way to handle it.

THE AU IS RIDICULOUS, but all you really need to know is Kaito got humanity's malice dumped into his head along with ridiculous power, and his way of coping with both that and the trauma involved was to shove it all in with everything else he represses the heck out of and then completely dissociate himself from it. End result: what he thinks of as his inner monster has completely split off into a personality of its own, following the imagery and pattern left behind by the Shadow from that one time the Vocaloid Dressing Room had a Persona event.

(Please don't judge me.)

[Hisses quietly, appreciative. His fingers tangling back in Kaito's hair, not guiding him or anything just... Holding on. Letting Kaito do what he wants right now, just. Thoroughly enjoying it.]

[Well fuck it, fine. He leaves his weight to Kaito and the wall, fingers tight in Kaito's hair and breath coming short and heavy with low noises between his teeth. thankfully, with where his hands are positioned, it's laughably easy to take most of Tristan's weight on one arm so that he curl the fingers of his other hand around to start fingering him again ]

[You know what that's not what he meant and he is the opposite of complaining about it. Yanking on Kaito's hair and gasping, somewhere between trying to grind into his mouth or down on his hand at this point he just. Really wants more. It feels good. It'd feel better if it hurt a bit but. Nope not really thinking right now.]

[ catching the edge of that want through the bonds and his own nature, rubbing his cheek against the inside of Tristan's thigh on a downstroke and oh. that... is a hint of teeth.

[The way he tightens his legs around Kaito's shoulders and curls a little over him is. Probably an indication. But he verbalizes it, so it's clear, his answer to the question is not remotely in doubt. Voice wrecked with need.]

[He laughs and digs his nails into Kaito's skin, whatever he can reach. Just holding on for a moment because that feels, frankly, fucking amazing. It hurts and he wants more. Chains manifest, a collar tight around Kaito's throat, biting and burning and if Kaito destroys it soon he doesn't care, he's yanking on the chain attached, letting the magic wind around Kaito's legs just... Because this is a really great idea don't question it.]

[ he goes from that sort of gleeful bloodlust to abrupt white-hot rage with no warning at all, yanking back against the chains with a choked snarl and then diving for Tristan's throat. his teeth are serrated and sharp, the wolf's teeth, and this time he does clamp them down and shake his head like a dog worrying at a bone— not hard enough to tear his throat out, since he's been blocked from that, but hard enough to hurt. he claws at Tristan like he wants to disembowel him. ]

[He laughs again, this time choked a bit and whining in pain, blood welling from the bite and in his mouth. He yanks the chain harder, the raw pleasure of objectives and conditioning to enjoy pain and just, the adrenaline and thrill making him come with a wordless scream. He knows Kaito can't kill him but it doesn't stop the reactions in his body and really, that's what he wanted. To provoke this. To get off on this.]

[There's no part of him that will regret using Kaito this way or anything at all, nope.]

[ the chains are corroding at a fast rate, the darkness that's settled into Kaito's skin and completely obscured everything but his eyes and his general shape eating away at the restraints wherever they touch skin. he's almost more wolf than person-shaped, all sharp teeth and claws and furious glowing eyes.

and just because Tristan is done doesn't mean he is.

unlike his other half, he's completely aware of the metaphorical bonds pulling them together and has no problems using and abusing them. he doesn't stop tearing at Tristan's body, but he doesn't need to to start tearing at his mind, lashing out in hurt and betrayal and incoherent anger ]

[The hall darkens like Tristan's vision. Spears of light erupt from the ground and walls to impale Kaito. Not kill him, but attempt to immobilize him at least. Tristan is healing physically but the mental attack leaves him dazed and reacting with nothing but instinct.]

Stop!!

[Oh hey it's that guy with Kaito's face barreling towards them only to stop helplessly because he can't do anything he doesn't know what's safe to touch he doesn't know how not to break them]

Enough... It's enough, okay? You both can stop now...

[ he rips himself off of the spears, staggering back and spattering dark, thick blood everywhere in the process. his mad shrieking is almost entirely drowned out by the tortured howling of air being sucked into his maw.

despite all his fury, though, he doesn't go back after Tristan. he knows he won't get satisfaction there, and he's always been distractable, besides— especially when someone had the gall to think they could tell him to stop.

he shakes himself with a vicious snarl and turns on Harvey instead. ]

[This may be the only time Tristan does something Kaito might potentially thank him for. He pushes himself to sitting upright, eyes blazing red with power in the dark hall, gore and semen covering him to make him look more demonic than anything. He's still reeling, light headed and crying without realizing he's shedding tears.]

Stop.

[The command comes with force. Compulsion, to lock Kaito's legs and force him to his knees. Hell it's strong enough it's barely an inch from a command for Kaito's very heart to stop. It's meant to force him down, make him kneel and obey.]

[ —his snarling cuts off abruptly as his forelegs buckle, dropping him to his knees before he just... goes over, like a tree that's been felled. his eyes are unfocused as he bares his neck and belly in submission, taking in deep hissing rushes of breath ]

[He doesn't know what to do. This is way, way above anything he's ever had to deal with. They both are. He can't even let Kaito take out his rage on him because it would hurt him too badly to injure or kill one of the only good things he has left.

Kaito didn't need to go into detail back then, that phrase alone was blackmail enough.

But if he doesn't know what to do, doesn't have the ability to change or fix this... the least he can do is something. And that something is dropping to his knees beside Kaito, stroking his hair with his only hand, seeming just... profoundly tired and sad in that way Harvey does at times.]

...I meant you too, you know.

But thank you. He'd have regretted that.

[Kaito can feel the self-loathing and fury and inwardly directed hatred leaking all over their bond but outwardly Tris laughs harshly, replacing lost blood with magic, so he can stand without wobbling.]

Maybe I should have let him kill you. How will you know he likes you unless he's murdered you with his own hands? It's a pattern of his.

[Yeah. Yeah he's being so nice.]

[ whines in response to Tristan's comment, long and pained, but doesn't otherwise move ]

[sharp, like he's scolding a kid and that's maybe not the best way to go about this but it's too late now.]
