[gasps and nods, barely]

[easing up a little, rubbing his thumb against the other's throat]

My name. Say it.

[looks up at him, not a little fearfully - but there's something else there.

something better.]

K-Kahh... Kaito.

Kaito.

[was_no_monster]

[he rumbles again, without malice or anger this time, and lets go]

Good.

[then he shifts his hand to force Kaito's head up, leans in, and bites him hard on the edge of the jaw]

[he's been learning, the more he does this, that there are some kinds of pain and some places to be hurt that he prefers to others. this isn't one of the good spots, but it's definitely one of the good pains, so the whimper he lets out is more pleased than not]

Kaito... Kaito!

[was_no_monster]

[he sucks briefly, mostly for the feel of skin against his lips and tongue, before letting go again to nuzzle his way down Kaito's neck, trying to find the spot that had worked so well before. part of him is thinking "reward", but the rest of him just wants to hear the other scream.]

[oh, that's a much nicer place. he purrs and sighs, relaxing underneath the other man.]

[was_no_monster]

[there, then. for a fleeting moment he's tempted to bite down as hard as he can, to try and rip into flesh the other doesn't even have.

instead, he shoves his thigh between the other Kaito's legs and forces them apart, digs his fingers into his side and chest with bruising force— and when the impulse finally passes, then he bites down again.]

Ah, aaahn!

[arching, lifting his hips to try and get some friction]

M-Ma-- Kaito--

[was_no_monster]

[pushes his leg up higher, both to give it to him and to brace himself, and then pulls one hand back and punches Kaito in the chest]

[he doesn't quite breathe the way humans do. but there's air in his chest, and the blow knocks it out. that isn't one of the more arousing pains, but it's hard not to feel excited]

I'm sorry, Kaito! I-I'm sorry, I'm so bad--

[grabbing him by the jaw and leaning in]

No. Telling you when you've done right or wrong is my privilege.

[itaito]

[winces, staring up fearfully (delightedly) at Kaito]

Y-yes... Kaito.

[was_no_monster]

[his grip gentles again, but there's still tension in it, and in the rest of him]

...I want to hurt you. However, if you make either of those mistakes again, I'll stop.

Do you understand?

[itaito]

Yes. I-I understand...

[but it's frustrating to only call him by name, to assume the familiarity of equals when he wants so badly to be below the other. it's desperately unsatisfying, and so, before he can rethink it:]

[blushes, looking a little startled himself]

Ah... i-is that okay? I-I know you don't want to be called... but just using your name, it's too familiar! It's fine normally, but for this, I, I just n-need some way I can... l-lower myself.

[slowly scowling, equal parts frustration with a seemingly insurmountable problem and actual irritation]

...No. Maybe— maybe later, but not now. Right now, I don't de— I don't want to be elevated. If you can do it without that, then I would accept it... but otherwise, no.

[itaito]

[he bites his lip, thinking. familiarity feels wrong, but this isn't all about him.

presently, he nods]

All right... Kaito. I-I won't.

[was_no_monster]

[his expression smooths out a little, but he's still frowning. his anger may be too close to the surface for his comfort, but he's not so far gone that this won't bother him, now. there has to be something—]

I have a better idea. What if you couldn't call me anything at all?

[itaito]

[he brightens]

You mean, g-gagging me? That could work!

[was_no_monster]

[sighing quietly in relief. one problem solved, at least]

All right. In that case, it's probably best if I free your hands...

[starting to tug the chains loose]

[itaito]

[he tries not to show his disappointment. it's only for the moment, right?]

[gives him a sidelong look, and then replaces the chains with one of his hands as he uses the other to pull his scarf off]
